Baby's First Halloween

What a dream come true, I get to dress my baby up as a chicken! The most adorable costume was hand made by her talented Grandma (thanks Carolyn for indulging me on all things chickeny.) Happy Halloween!

Halloween ABCs- finally!!!

I started this Halloween ABCs last year- I never finished it in time but hey- Halloween comes back every year! I have it available as a print over at Society 6 (both vertical and horizontal version.)

It is also my Facebook Page cover right now for the month of October. Please head over and like my page if you are a regular subscriber here. I'm updating more often over there.

I'm excited this Halloween because I get to dress up a certain somebody in a certain animal costume. :-) Grandma is making the costume and I can't wait to see it. Will post pics!

The Haunted Ghoul Bus is back!

I'm so happy to see that The Haunted Ghoul Bus in which I illustrated is back on the shelves at Barnes and Nobles this year. If you need a Halloween book for your little one, it is a great sturdy book with thick and embossed pages. Check it out (it is at a great price right now at for $5.76!)

The Great Christmas Crisis

I'm celebrating the release of a new book today! The Great Christmas Crisis, written by Kim Norman, illustrated by yours truly, is published by Sterling. It is a sequel to The Great Reindeer Rebellion, written by the late Lisa Trumbauer, back in 2009.

A year ago, I was pregnant and on bed rest, working on this book. I had some complications and didn't know if I was going to finish this book on time or have a healthy baby.

Well, this book is obviously completed; my daughter was born, healthy and oddly enough- on Christmas eve. My own little Christmas Crisis in the making. Here she is pointing at the elf from the book:-) I will always look at this book with lots of sentiment.

Get it on, Amazon, or find it at your local indie bookstore.

I'm hoping to do some fun freebies and giveaways with this book! The holidays will sneak up on us before we know it.
