My new favorite bag! More projects from Amy Butler's In stitches....I was finally confident to tackle this bag and it wasn't that hard. Plus, this fabric is the most expensive fabric I've worked with yet...can't mess it up! Although I haven't bought the very expensive yet very cute Japanese fabric I've been oogling over just yet. This fabric is from
The City Quilters, very easy for me to get to. Or maybe too easy....I've already got the farbic hording syndrome....

Very cute, good work :o)
I wish I could sew! Whenever I see your stuff, it makes me wonder if I could ever get the hang of it.
too presh!! i wish i could get to my sewing, i have bags of fabric waiting to be turned into something! Thanks so much for the inspiration, and darn it I'm too late for your penguin drawing! We saw your Cranium stuff in the lo-cal Toys R Us! Yay!
Wow, this came out really nice. I always wanted to make my own bag but I'm scared of messing it up! This post has given me a little extra confidence to try it :)
I love this bag! Made one on my own (with my mum's help) and it was just so satisfying and at the same time proud to carry it out for shopping! Do you make a lot of these bags? Do you sell them?
Jessica: thanks! I love making bags too...it is satisfying, isn't it? I don't sell them right now, but you never know in the future!
