3 little Pigs

A recent piece I did for MacMillian/McGraw-Hill. I love drawing "cut outs" of buildings so you can see the interior. I am very influenced by Richard Scarry's Busy Busy Town, one of my favorite books as a child.

One of my favorite books as well and later cartoon on tv. Wish they still played those so my kiddos could watch it.

Adorable piece.

I love this too-brings me back to being a kid, I used to imagine myself inside little houses like that. Lovely illustration!

That is rrrreally goood! And ya know what else? I loved Richard Scarry's books, too, but yours are soooo much better! They have so much more zing and heartfeltness to them and If you put out books like he did, I'd had a whole collection of yours!

This looks great, Jannie! I've never done a cut-away before myself and it DOES look like fun!

Great! Just saw Hoodwinked. Wonder what the real story is.
