Illustration Friday-Hats

Above is a piece from a little educational book called Funny Bunny Hats for Houghton Mifflin. It was tough coming up with alot of different hats, but of course, I had to have a chicken hat in there!

Just came back from Berlin and had a wonderful time! We even took a side trip to Hamburg. I am a little sick right now though, and definitely jetlagged. But I'm already thinking where I should travel to next!

Great illustration! Love the hats :), especially that mouth one and chicken hat! I wanted to ask you if you had published work for a textbook company...my Kindergartners are using Treasures, by Macmillan/McGraw-Hill. Some of the illustrations in there remind me of your work! Just wondering if you'd illustrated for them? :)

The chicken hat is a favorite, most definately, but do you really think a fox should wear it? Hmmmm?

I saw your Open piece at the gallery. Very nice work! Congrats. I took a few pics, which are on my blog. I'll probably stop back there. Let me know if you want a photo of your piece on the wall. Sorry I didn't take a pic of everyone's art, just snapped a few.

This illustration is great too! Such talent.

The chicken hat is so awesome! off-topic- I didn't realize the Bust show was this weekend too. I feel so dumb now going all the way to Boston when there is a show right in my town! I guess I am waaaay out of the craft loop!
