21 Day Challenge- Day 5 of 21

I didn't post yesterday but I did do a sketch for this piece. (I try to stay away from the computer and not work on the weekends now!) Hope you guys don't think I am crazy with the violent butcher guy! Just more stuff I don't get to do in children's books. :-P

Why? You don't usually illustrate angry butchers running behind turkey legs in your books? Well I do it all the time ;o)

This is wonderful, love your style when drawing people, translates perfectly with your style at drawing animals, amazing. He is awesome :o)

Actually, I love it! Very nostalgic. Things were different in children's books when I was growing up. These are the kinds of illustrations which DID appear (this little piggy went to market....you know, to be made into a ham loaf).

Hee hee, this is awesome. I like cute things that lean towards the dark side. I imagine it might be because of what Kate said, that once upon a time, children's books did tend to lean that way.

I'm really enjoying your peeps a lot!
