21 Day Challenge- Day 7 of 21

I've finally started digging around wedding sites to check out our options and start the planning. I even broke down and bought a wedding magazine, something I was kind of against doing. One thing I did not want was to become a Bridezilla, but there is something about the wedding industry that sucks you in and makes you think you need this and that.

I'm the type who doesn't like to be the center of attention, so hopefully our wedding will be very intimate and lovely with close friends and family.

But sometimes we just want to zap our significant other in the butt, right? ;-)

Hee... hee... yeap, yes we do!!

This is so fun and funny Jannie! Keep them coming..

And yes people sometimes get carried away with the wedding. The good thing is that you are clear in what you want, and focus on simple. Simple is always good, enjoy the process!

That is adorable. I can relate! No matter how wonderful your guy is, they all deserve a bit of a zap now and then... keep em in line.

Glad you're not succumbing too much to the wedding "racket." Have fun with it. You know what's right for you.

haha, I always say that being married is a heck of a lot easier than planning the wedding. In the end, we went totally non-conventional -- jumped off a cliff into a lake where our family and friends were watching from pontoon boats. Small but memorable. Good Luck, and make it your own!

Yes this is so funny Jannie!! I like your point of view!!
Take it easy, get married is a stressful thing... but the all importan thing is the love you take each other. And people remember better small & lovely weddings than big & outlandish's one.
Big Huge!

Oh, too funny (and true). Even the sweetest of us have bridezilla moments. Wedding planning can be very stressful if it's not your cup o' tea, be sure to enjoy being engaged first! We fought the family tradition of a 'big Irish wedding' and got our perfect small (under 60) wedding outdoors. Hopefully you'll find your path too (with minimal zapping of groom!)

Very nice... can you send me the recipe for the "laser eyes", I would love to do some zapping of my own.
Fun illustration, thanks for sharing

Should I even post on this one; afraid I might get zapped if I say the wrong thing!

Keep it small, both in size and the amount of people invited and involved. Everyone will appreciate it more. You will have fonder memories because you will have been able to visit with everyone, and everyone will be able to see what is going on! :P Do invest in a good photographer. I say that from a not-so-good experience!

Nice illo, BTW!
